- Your content must be public and shared on a Facebook page whose profile must be created in professional mode. Pages created outside professional mode cannot monetize their content.
- You must be residing in an eligible country where monetization tools and features are available. If you are not in an eligible location, you cannot have in-stream advertisements in your videos.
- Your content must follow the Facebook Community Standards. It shouldn’t contain non-consensually used copyrighted material, hate speech against a protected group, sexualized content, or violence.
- Your monetized content must meet Content Monetization Policies which dictate the format and contents. Your content can be a static video, image poll, slideshow of photographs, looping video, embedded ad or text montage. - Your content must be authentic and original. It must be fully or mostly created by you.

- You must follow Facebook’s payment terms. You must provide a valid payment credential and abide by the additional terms relevant in your location.
- Your page must follow Facebook’s Pages, Groups and Events Terms.
- Your page must have no less than five active, public videos. These videos should not be shorter than a minute and have more than 600,000 minutes of views in the last 60-day period.
- Your Live videos also count and you can monetize them as well. To qualify for monetizing your Live videos, at least 3 of the active and public videos of your page must be Live videos and these live videos must have at least 60,000 minutes of views.
- Your page must have at least 10,000 followers.
