Also known as jazztronica, nu-jazz was born in the early 1990’s. Inspired by a wide range of genres including techno, EDM, soul, house and dance music, nu-jazz mainly consists of elements of jazz and electronic music. The most prominent structural quality of nu-jazz tracks is their ability to fuse live instruments with house beats. Nu-jazz differentiates from acid jazz with its more electronic sound.
